Banana Berry Bread

I tried a new recipe the other day and it was really good!

It was a banana bread recipe from this site.  The difference in this recipe is you add berries to the banana bread and it was so good and moist!

Banana Bread Recipe
1 3/4 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 c. mashed bananas (2-3 medium bananas)
1/3 c. butter
2 T. milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries
1/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
In large mixer combine sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add mashed bananas, butter, and milk. Beat on high for 2 minutes. Add eggs and flour. Beat until blended. Add nuts.
Pour batter into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or till a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.

(If you do add the berries it's best to fold them in, don't beat them!)

Makes one loaf.

I also had the adorable loaf pans from Welcome Home Brands
These are little paper loaf pans and they come in the perfect size and have the cutest designs.  I may need some more of these for the Christmas holiday this year.

Mini loaf pans :

*Or you could just put candy or whatever else you want in these*
 Paper cups:

Cute huh?

I would rather bake than cook any day...it's a lot more fun!

Hope ya'll are having a good weekend!
