Weekend Wrap Up

It was in the 50's today!!!  Which means everyone here in Texas is busting out their long johns because that compared to you Northerner's weather is -30 for us!  I am sooooo ready for it to feel like fall!

We had a great weekend, but another busy one.  I'm overjoyed that so many people have asked me to do family photos for Christmas this year.  It blesses my heart and I'm thrilled!  I've met so many amazing families through doing pictures :-)

I worked half a day today then I went to court.  If you remember way back on Valentine's Day I got a speeding ticket.  Well, three hours later and I was given the option of a reduced fine and defensive driving course.  I'll take it!  Just glad to have this over with.....I just don't want to worry about that stupid ticket anymore.  Even though I know that I know that I know....I was not going that fast in a school zone.  Whatevs.

Okay here is a recap of our weekend!

Connor looking very GQ in his sweater :-)
I got to take some pictures of 4 month old baby Allie.
She's the daughter of one of my good friends at work.
We had some Raising Cane's Chicken.  "Where the chicken is kickin and the sauce is boss" or "Hey hey hey would you like some chicken today?"  Some good eatin right there!

I changed the the chalkboard in the kitchen to a Christmas theme.  I found those chalkboard markers at Michael's craft store and I love how they go on so smooth!  I'm slowing getting out all our Christmas decor....and I think this year we may get our first REAL Christmas tree!!!
I had Monday off work so Kindra and I (along with Connor) went shopping and ate some Mexican.  Kindra is so good with Connor and she's become such a good friend over the past couple years.
Some things we found while shopping....

Big Betty:  Apparently she holds an ENTIRE bottle of wine....mercy!
Cute painted signs.  Love this stuff!

I also love this chalkboard sign/ornament.  Adorbs.
We did some more stuff this weekend.....we potty trained a bit.  That's another story for another day.  It's hilarious....I may save that for tomorrow. Gah...this potty training ain't no joke!

So there was a family in my restaurant last weekend that had a little boy that seriously could have been Connor's TWIN. We were all oohing and ahhing over his curly hair, hehe.

Connor is just PRECIOUS! I just love his curls. Such a ladies man. ;) I love your blog too! I've been reading for awhile, but I'm not sure if I've ever commented. So, hi! :)

I had never heard of Raising Cane's until I moved to Louisiana, but now it's probably one of my favorite fast food places.

Conner + blonde curls = CUTENESS!!! I'm not sure if I'm late or what lol but I thought Raising Kane's was a Lubbock thing. Maybe I just miss it everytime I go home back to Dallas, but I've never seen one until I moved here to attend Tech. Very good to know because I LOVE that place! :)
