Okay onto other miscellaneous and non-important stuff....
We made our first fire in the house Thursday night! I love the smell of fireplaces...mmmmm...
Does that make me weird? It snowed one morning last week and it was so pretty! I need to be spanked because I didn't get a picture and it is very RARE it Texas for snow. I made some BLT's for dinner and we just sat down in front of the fire and watched TV-good times!
Gulp! Baby Connor likey bacon!
And YES-I am going to hang that clock somewhere in the house, I just don't know where...so for right now it rests on the mantle until I find a picture I like or something. Also want to find some floral something or other for those blue vases....it's a work in progress!
Okay now I'm going to get Ter-bear out of the bed so we can do some Christmas shopping! We celebrate Christmas next weekend with his family and we haven't got a darn thing yet!
Happy Weekend Everyone!

The smell of a fire is one of my absolute favs! I've never heard of "cutting" but it looks like fun!
I love the fire smell too! We haven't cranked our fireplace up yet but I think we might tonight while we watch some football! I didn't get a picture of the snow either- my kindergarten kids were super excited about the 30 seconds we did get! Ha! BTW, I love the name Connor! I have a Connor in my class this year and he is absolutely precious. I haven't met a Connor yet that I didn't love!
Loving the smell of fireplaces definitely does not make you weird. For me its due to the smokey-ness smell.
And I definitely remember Kristy Lee Cook from Idol. Good to hear she's still singing
I bet that was fun! Cutting is one of my most favorite rodeo events to watch. Lovin' the fireplace picture, your house looks so cozy!
Love your mantel!
Ps- my captcha was "firefuel" hahahaha
I love the smell of fires too...unfortunetly the bottom of our fireplace has become a graveyard for burnt up dead lizaeds so I think we might skip it.
My uncle used to train cutting horses. I love horses, but not the work involved. LOL Looks like you guys had a great time.
Fires are amazing! The snow was pretty, I didn't get a pic either!!!
Once I was a horse owner and the cutting event was something I enjoyed a lot.
Coffee is on.
Now I'm super hungry for BLTs!! I think I might make some for lunch!
