Congratulations! I was super sick throughout my entire pregnancy so you have all my sympathy! It is all worth it though! And I kept reminding myself it was a comforting discomfort in that as long as I had symptoms, I knew everything was ok! Even with Phenergan, I was sick sick every single day, but I did find a few things that helped some with the nausea somewhat.

Sonic slushes were a HUGE help! Especially the lemon-berry! Lemon drops were super as well! Preggie pops were mentioned- if you check out the ingredients, the lemon drops are essentially the same and a whole lot cheaper and easier to find! Oatmeal helped soothe too! And the small freguent meals is a must! Also, eat some protein at night before bed- even if it is just some cheese. Makes a huge difference in the morning! The protein bars are wonderful as well- I always, always had these with me!

I stressed out all the time because of how many times a day I got sick and worried that she was not getting all the nutrients needed, but she is a perfect, beautiful, healthy 2 year old girl! My doctor okayed me to take one Unisom each night before bed, and when I remember to do that I never get sick the next day. Also, as others said, small frequent meals help a lot. MOST importantly for me is to never get over-hungry. I try to eat small constant snacks through the day even if I'm not hungry because once I get to the point where I FEEL hungry, I get sick within minutes, which then makes me not want to eat etc. Also, if I know I'm going to be sick I try to drink a cup of water because dry heaving is MISERABLE. Sorry if this was a lot of info, but this is what I've found to work for me.Kodihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04752268343784867005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22102498.post-45740139862851833682011-01-14T10:32:30.156-06:002011-01-14T10:32:30.156-06:00the sea bands didn't do anything for me. peppe...the sea bands didn't do anything for me. peppermint tea, ginger snaps, sprite (im not a fan of canada dry), and saltines helped me! i also actually really like the preggie pops from babies r us, they also have preggie drops idf u dont like the suckers. congrats...such exciting news!!!Debbiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02947197345402214313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22102498.post-71208465167291353342011-01-14T10:32:29.673-06:002011-01-14T10:32:29.673-06:00It may sound weird but.....salt!! I had a box of ginger snaps next to my bed so I could eat a few before getting up. Also after I would get sick I would make myself some warm ginger peach tea. It was so soothing to my tummy and me me feel better for alot longer! If you are feeling yucky while laying down or before bed, prop yourself up a bit so you dont lay flat and support your back and tummy with pillows. Even though your belly isnt huge yet it always made me feel better to have some light pressure or support for my tummy!
